I designed and developed a Python application that combined dynamic forms, configurable 3D models, visual redlines, and PDF generation into a clearer workflow for communicating patient-specific implant design intent.
Formula SAE · Structural design September — November 2025
I took on the 2026 front-wing mount redesign to demonstrate that I could own a complete structural problem, used topology optimization to identify the load path, rebuilt the result as manufacturable CAD, and contributed to my nomination to lead the 2027 frame.

I led the research, specimen design, sponsor coordination, fabrication, testing, and analysis for a controlled comparison of bonded carbon-fiber inserts and welded steel joints.

On a two-person freshman team, I helped produce the mandatory 2026 Formula SAE Cost Scenario RFQ for the assigned suspension subsystem, documenting its complete manufacturing and assembly scope.

I built a user-focused C# Windows application that used the SolidWorks API to automate Go/No-Go inspection gauge-block models, reducing a repeat CAD task from roughly 15 minutes to 3 minutes.

I designed and built a working desktop CNC mill around standard aluminum extrusion, a water-cooled spindle, servo motion, and extensive 3D-printed structure.

After an overweight, tail-heavy first aircraft failed immediately, I used OpenVSP, printed gliders, surface modeling, and structural weight reduction to develop a 600 g second design with a 1,000 mm wingspan.

When hundreds of production adapters were on backorder, I measured the interfaces, strengthened the weak areas, and delivered a working printed replacement in three days.

I redesigned a broken electric-fence reel's spool, ratchet, planetary gearbox, and latch, then printed and beta-tested the replacements in daily ranch use.

Our team designed a multi-part PLA bridge around strict span and mass limits, then used simulation and destructive prototypes to improve its resistance to buckling.

I designed and produced a six-slot PETG seed-meter disc that adapted a high-rate brush meter for an 8,000–10,000 seed-per-acre dryland corn target.

I designed the mechanical systems for an all-terrain RC car around a 2.8 kW brushless motor, then used bearing, driveline, gearbox, and suspension failures to refine a 250-plus-part printed assembly.
